THE COLLABORATION WITH SQUALE

We are grateful to SQUALE for allowing us the honour of telling a success story in which the protagonists are, on the one hand, the oldest and largest diving watch company, SQUALE, and on the other, a young and passionate watch strap company that has decided to buckle together past and future.

It takes place in 2016, when Giuliano Alessi and the Maggi family met to solve a problem: increasing the performance of one of Squale’s flagship watches. The historic watchmaking company, always seeking the best for its products, needed a very high quality strap for its 50 ATMOS.  Giuliano Alessi, president of SEACULT, thus began a long search for materials in order to develop new designs, and carried out many tests, both mechanical and of composition, until all the pieces fell into place and a revolutionary new solution was conceived.

The result was a ‘made in Italy’ watch strap, of a resistance that is unrivalled in the world of technical rubber, with a design that is perfectly in keeping with the sporty personality of the watch and at an extremely low price.

A SUCCESS FOR ALL

After this success others followed and today, SECULT supplies the technical straps for most of the SQUALE products and continues in the search for new designs and increasingly innovative materials.
